The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing support for our Linux-based applications, ensuring their seamless operation. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide efficient support for Linux-based applications within the Xebo.ai platform.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues promptly.
  3. Utilize networking basics to optimize system performance.
  4. Demonstrate proficiency in SQL basics for database management.
  5. Additional expertise in MongoDB is highly desirable.
  6. Implement Bash scripting for automation and process improvement.
  7. Conduct application monitoring to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex technical challenges.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and contribute to the enhancement of our technical processes.
  10. Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support if required.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Linux/Application Support Engineer or similar role.
  3. Strong understanding of networking basics.
  4. Proficiency in SQL basics; familiarity with MongoDB is a plus.
  5. Experience with application troubleshooting and performance optimization.
  6. Bash scripting skills for automation and task simplification.
  7. Knowledge of application monitoring tools.
  8. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  10. Having experience in Docker can be an additional skill.
  11. Certifications such as Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC)or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) are advantageous.
